Today is the day to give thanks to our servicemen and remember all of the past sacrifices of generations of veterans.
My brother is a Retired Army Colonel. He spent 26 years in the Army, sacrificing time with his wife and son. He missed his son's high school graduation to serve in Iraq. He was one of those little boys that wanted nothing more than to serve in the Army like his father did. And my brother was a terrific Army officer.
He's now working for a civilian company and staying busy in his "retirement".
For Memorial Day, we like to grill out and enjoy the wonderful day! It doesn't get better than that!
